Following WHERE THE LIGHT IS and BERLIN, I’m beyond excited to share my third single GOLD, the 💛 of my EP! (YouTube, Spotify)

GOLD marks the beginning of my spiritual journey. Written during one of the most challenging chapters of my life, GOLD became a mantra — a reminder that even from the deepest mud, something beautiful can grow. It became a vibration of expansion — a sonic reminder of what happens when we rise through darkness into light.

GOLD is a soulful fusion of reggae and world music with jazzy influences, crafted to elevate and inspire, reminding us of the strength that lies within each and every one of us, our light, and our limitless potential. A call to embrace the beauty of change, to dance through the struggles of life, and to celebrate the radiance within us.

Played and produced by exceptional musicians from all around the globe - including Germany, Angola, Nigeria, Brazil, and Portugal* - this record celebrates the universal language of music. The unique approach to songwriting and production makes each song reflect a seamless blend of European and African influences: vibrant African-inspired rhythms merge with a Berlin-inspired sensibility, resulting in songs that feel both: timeless and boundary-pushing.

ABOUT HANNALENE

Inspired by the pulsing musical variety of her hometown Berlin, singer/songwritress HANNALENE has always felt the desire to express herself through music. Among the varied musical traditions of her upbringing, Latin music won her heart as a child and continues to shape her musical taste today. Since the release of her debut album RELEASE, she has toured as a solo artist and with bands through Europe. After exploring the healing forces of sound and voice, HANNALENE is releasing her new EP GOLD starting December 2024.
